Air fryer chestnut and bacon sprouts
That’s right, my spud-loving huns, your air fryer is about to revolutionise how you feel about sprouts. Forget the soggy, boiled nightmares of Christmas past—these air-fried beauties are crispy, golden, and absolutely packed with flavour. Even the sprout skeptics at your table will be fighting for seconds.
Why air fryers are a Christmas miracle
Picture this: your oven is crammed with a giant turkey, trays of stuffing, and more pigs in blankets than you can count. Oven space? Non-existent. Enter the air fryer, the true MVP of festive cooking. It frees up your oven, speeds up cooking times, and ensures your sprouts get that perfect roasted crunch without monopolizing precious kitchen real estate. Plus, with minimal oil and maximum crispiness, air-fried sprouts are healthier without sacrificing flavour.
Sprouts with style
Want to level up your sprout game? Toss them in garlic butter, sprinkle over some crispy pancetta, or finish with a drizzle of balsamic glaze for a fancy touch. If you’re feeling extra festive, why not add dried cranberries and toasted pecans for a sweet-savoury twist?
The air fryer revolution
The air fryer isn’t just for sprouts—it’s a versatile kitchen hero. Roast your carrots, parsnips, or even experiment with crispy roast potatoes for the ultimate Christmas side dishes. Not to mention, it’s a lifesaver for busy weeknights when you want something quick, tasty, and fuss-free.
