Crisps charcuterie

THE ULTIMATE GIRL DINNER

If you’re got the gals coming round, or you’ve got a night to yourself, this is what you should be making. A CRISPS CHARCUTERIE BOARD. It’s just beautiful, I don’t even have the words to express for wonderful and indulgent this is. Sadly, I can’t take full credit for this masterpiece because the crisps charcuterie board has been doing the rounds on TikTok, however this is my take on the recipe. So it’s basically full of ham, cheese and sweet hot honey.

I’ve become so obsessed with this dish that I’ve made another five variations that I tested out, which I can confirm were all a success. I may have a problem tbh. Anyway, if you’re not a fan of some of the toppings in this recipe, check out the below options. If you go completely rogue and make your own up, please DM me with your ingredients so I can test this out too.

Other delicious variations:

  • Sweet chilli crisps, serrano ham, manchego, goats cheese and balsamic glaze
  • Ready salted crisps, sun dried tomatoes, mini mozzarella pearls, sliced olives, pecorino (the antipasti grazing board)
  • Cheese and onion crisps, pickled onions, cheddar, branston pickle
  • Red pepper crisps, hummus, salsa, roasted red peppers from a jar, vegan feta
  • Ready salted crisps, chicken breast, crumbled bacon, caesar dressing, lettuce, anchovies, parmesan

Or, if you’re just really into potatoes and want more carb-loaded recipes, check out my page dedicated to the humble spud here.

Prep Time: 10 mins
Serves 2-4

Ingredients

Metric Imperial

    Metric

  • 2 large sharing bags of ready salted crisps (or salt and vinegar if you fancy)
  • 1 packet parma ham
  • 1 packet rustic salami
  • 1 packet milano salami
  • 1 wedge of brie
  • Grated parmesan
  • 50g soft cheese (I like a truffle one)
  • Drizzle of hot honey (or regular honey if you don't want the spice)
  • Imperial

  • 2 large sharing bags of ready salted crisps (or salt and vinegar if you fancy)
  • 1 packet parma ham
  • 1 packet rustic salami
  • 1 packet milano salami
  • 1 wedge of brie
  • Grated parmesan
  • 50g soft cheese (I like a truffle one)
  • Drizzle of hot honey (or regular honey if you don't want the spice)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to high. On a baking tray, spread out all of your crisps as the base.
  2. Tear up your parma ham and salamis, then scatter them over the top of the crisps.
  3. Cut the brie into thin slices and lay it over the meats. Grate over PLENTY of parmesan cheese and spoon on small dollops of the soft cheese. I haven't included a quantity for the parmesan cheese because this bit is completely up to you!
  4. Drizzle generously with hot honey then pop the tray under the grill until the cheeses are melted and bubbling.
