Air fryer tenderstem broccoli
Super simple, super tasty
If you’re not already cooking your tenderstem broccoli in the air fryer, then what are you doing?! This recipe literally takes 15 mins start to finish and what you’re left with is beautifully charred broccoli that is tender, vibrant and not in the slightest bit soggy or bland. To add a little extra flavour, coat in oil and season with salt. That’s it! We’ll let the broccoli do the talking here.
Is it not easier to cook on the hob or oven?
I personally don’t think so. You’re not waiting for any pre-heating or boiling; you can whack it straight in the air fryer. It also minimises washing up, which is always a plus! It’s also a great way to free up hob/oven space if you’re cooking a big ole roast dinner. We know what space is incredibly precious, so if you can add in a gadget to simplify things, then why the hell not? I also love a slow cooker for braised cabbage too.
Do however keep an eye on your tenderstem broccoli as some air fryers can be more ferocious than others and you don’t want to florets to burn or become overly crisp. I’ve given a base of 7-10 mins, so bear in mind the type of air fryer you have when cooking.
A Sunday roast entirely in the air fryer?!
If you want to watch me take on a FULL ROAST DINNER in the air fryer, check out my video over on YouTube. I tackle everything from a roast chicken to roasted carrots and even gravy. Was it all succesful, have a watch and find out…
